The New Normal: What is it Really?
The ‘new normal’ is such a funny phrase. What is that even mean? Well its a phrase we have all heard a lot recently. What’s other things that people have said?
Some kind of year?
Crazy times?
Twenty Twenty…?
If one other person says ‘2020 has been some kind of year’ then I’m not sure what I will do.
Like I said 2020……well you know already.
We like to call it the new normal. Wearing masks, social distancing, and quarantines.
What is normal?
What was life like before March 2020?
Being in Montana its been a bit different than say California, New York, or Seattle. The case counts didn’t spike until September and the mask requirements didn’t happen until June.
I recently got back from a trip to eastern Montana where the population is so small and spread out that they didn’t even have a mask mandate in that county. I can’t tell you how awesome it was to walk into a store and not put on a mask. So If I had to choose one thing that I miss about how ‘normal’ life was, then it would be not having to try and remember to bring or put on a mask to walk into EVERY store or restaurant.
